The Assignment
The Assignment has had a great response from many of you keen to show off your photographic skills.
We caught up with one of the students from the first Assignment who shares her thoughts on the experience of being mentored by professional photographer Vicki Couchman and what she’s taken away with her from the opportunity.
Magda Jagri is Hungarian but currently lives in London because she is studying Photography with the goal of becoming a photojournalist.

What first inspired you to develop your interest in photography? Was it a particular photographer or photograph?
When I was a kid, my mom used to work for MTI (the main Hungarian News Broadcasting at the time) where she would create and mount many photo albums/portfolios for photographers and photojournalists; often to wall size images. Over the years she got to meet many talented photographers, collected many of the unused copies and got invitations to their exhibitions. It developed a natural interest in photography for the whole family so we made sure we recorded as many moments of our life as we could. I grew up carrying a camera with me as often as possible and now photography is my life.
